Terms of use
Food Recalls (foodrecalls.mt) is an independent convenience service operated by TechTrek Solutions. By using this website or installing it as an app on your device, you agree to these terms.
What this service is
Food Recalls republishes Malta-relevant food safety alerts drawn from the public EU RASFF Consumers portal and, where available, linked national notices. It is not a government website, not affiliated with the Maltese authorities or the European Commission, and not an official source of food-safety instructions.
No responsibility for alert content
Alert titles, hazards, actions, lot details, images, contacts, and links are derived from RASFF and third-party official notices. We do not create, verify, or guarantee that information. It may be incomplete, delayed, mistranslated, out of date, or wrong.
You must always follow the official guidance on the linked source pages. Do not rely on Food Recalls alone for decisions about consuming, discarding, or returning food.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechTrek Solutions and Food Recalls accept no liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of this service or from reliance on content shown here.
Availability
The site, notifications, and data feeds are provided “as is” and “as available.” Ingest, hosting, or third-party portals may fail without notice. We may change, suspend, or stop the service at any time.
Acceptable use
Use Food Recalls for personal, non-commercial awareness of Malta-related recalls. Do not abuse the API or site (scraping at abusive rates, attempting to break security, or misrepresenting the service as official).
Privacy
How we handle limited technical data is described in our Privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
